On Saturday, October 17th the Angela Floyd Dance Company will recognize BPM, we will wear orange in recognition of Bullying Prevention Month. This is an issue that is very important to all of us at AFS and one we take very seriously. Of all the issues we talk about through the year, I think bullying one of the most important to discuss because almost all of these dancers will deal with it in one way or another during their elementary, middle, and high school years. Knowing that they have a support system through the studio can really help, and we want to stress to all of the girls that they can always come to the staff when they need an ear or shoulder. Looking forward to seeing all the orange on the 17th!

Make it ORANGE and make it end! Unite against bullying!
What are your true colors when it comes to bullying? If you care about safe and supportive schools and communities make your color ORANGE on Unity Day which will be celebrated Oct. 17th at AFS. That’s the day everyone can come together—in schools, communities, and online—and send one large ORANGE message of support, hope, and unity.
