Trula Floyd, who continually encouraged her daughter Angela to find and use her voice.  Trula never missed a spring concert, watching from her favorite seat, the center of the front row balcony, from the studio’s first show in 1997 through 2019.  In 2020 and 2021, she enjoyed cheering the dancers on from home through the livestream.  She was the biggest fan of AFS’ dance and music students and often lended a hand with costume creation and alterations.  Above all, she was a wonderful example of determination, strength, and devotion.  Miss Trula will be loved, missed, and remembered always.  We celebrate her life with this special scholarship to be presented in her memory at the spring Music Revue and Dance Concert each year.
